wah, did i ever mentioned abt any history regarding those 'rocks'... hehehe, must have slipped my mind i guess... well if u wanna know.. when me n my friends were there at the waterfall, swimming to our hearts content, one of my friend kinda slipped and fall into the water, and he did that all by himself too... then when he emerged from the waters, the sight was truly humorous.. there was a wide rip at his swimming trunks (he was wearing a boxer at that time)..

what truly made us all laugh so hard is that the rip was so huge but he still didnt notice it (the rip was at the back)... and so we all laugh at his butt cheeks... and boy was he mad when he found out abt it an hour later...

i'm zila..1st time posting here. Im working as QS - quantity surveyor at KL. Already passed 10 years I in construction field..since im form 4…actually I want improve my english. Passed 2 years I already took english course but cannot improve mt english...how arrr to improve my english?? overall people in my job need me speeking in english...i try but im feel pelik...opsss...sorry..but just 1 word in malay. hehehe.

its okay, its just one word... u know, u can improve ur english at home... if u r married, then ask ur spouse to converse with u in english... try it for a week, it may be slow but it will work... for those who r still single, just stand in front of a mirror, take any english textbook, just read out loud... it helps in removing the (pelik) feel that u mentioned just now.... give ur tounge a chance to feel completely at ease whenever u speak english...

just an idea to throw out here..
why not we begin with 1st step whereby we gather all ;

vocabulary - with lots of vocabularies then only we can either write or converse good english. Vocabulary can be categorize (i.e animals, in the kitchen, in the bathroom, in the porch etc)

we let the crowd to use the vocabularies and perform sentences, and will be corrected from time to time

I'm new here. It's nice to see everyone could converse and write in english quite well.
Just for info,i'm a fulltime housewife. I left the bank about 10 years back. I have four kids. Two of them are in the universities and the other two in boarding schools. I joined this forum simply to brush up my english.

i dont know abt that kembangsemangkuk... imo there are many things that we can learn from basic, either strengthening our english or discovering new things altogether...

huh... tired waiting for them...
last week me and my friend went to lata bayu sungai sedim for picnic... though we had a fun n happy moments during our stay there, we ran into many hardship during the journey... we travel in a compact car, charade, with 5 people in it making the car cramped plus with bumpy ride, it was hell... we spent abt 4 hours on the road due to the fact that we were lost several times... we even found ourselves at air terjun junjong, and after bickering among ourselves we left junjong n an hour later we arrived at sedim river... and we were glad... after setting and lighting the charcoal, we accidentally burnt some of our chicken... after we ate our meal we jumped into the river and boy the water was so cold....

same as me. yesterday my friends and i also went to sg.sedim and unfortunately we also faced the same problem as damahum which is we get lost. i think lack of signboard is the main factor why damahum and i get lost. after few hours we arrived there and without hesitated we changed our clothes and immedietely jumped into that damn cool water and it was really enjoyable day for me till when my brother "summoning" my friend's phone and asked me to came back immedietely and i need to drive as faster as possible. it was really a tiring day...

swimming pool is also one of my fave place to relax n enjoy my time off... usually i went with one of my friend, the two of us really fond of the pool.. and sometime when the guard at the pool were slacking off, we would go to the deepest part of the pool (7 ft) and jump in it like there is no tomorrow.... hehehe it is fun
